Become a vital part of CHEO's youth services as a Psychologist. In this role, you'll conduct assessments and provide evidence-based treatment to support adolescents navigating complex mental health challenges.
This position is rooted in the Step Up Step Down Program, a community-focused initiative developed by CHEO, The Royal, Youth Services Bureau, and Le CAP. You'll be an integral member of an interdisciplinary team that works collaboratively to improve outcomes for youth and families in need. Your skills in trauma-informed care and group facilitation will enhance the support provided to clients aged 12-17.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the interdisciplinary team in mental health care
• Conduct thorough psychological evaluations
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions
• Participate in team meetings and case discussions
• Cover for the Clinical Director when necessary
