Overview
Our client, an award-winning rotating equipment repairs workshop, is seeking a Workshop Supervisor for their electrical repairs division. You will report to the Workshop Manager and oversee a team of workshop electrical fitters and other personnel.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and provide technical support to workshop operatives on the bench and ensure timely clocking.
- Dismantle and inspect work to ensure nothing is missed.
- Test motors.
- Repair motors and rotating equipment, including gearboxes, pumps and generators.
- Ensure workload is managed in the workshop and that the team maintains a high standard of customer service from start to finish.
- Progress jobs through the workshop.
- Check what work is required and order parts.
- Cover for the Workshop Manager to price up jobs when on annual leave. ...
