Workshop Manager / Diesel Mechanic - Graaff-Reinet

Luxury Game Reserve close to Graaff-Reinet is currently looking for a Workshop Manager / Diesel Mechanic; responsible for maintaining the reserve’s vehicle fleet and managing the vehicle workshop to a high standard of excellence. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and reliable individual capable of problem‑solving and forward planning; demonstrating a proven track record of vehicle fleet management and vehicle maintenance with excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of the reserve’s fleet of vehicles, including preventative and ad hoc maintenance
• Ordering of parts and ensuring their timely delivery
• Maintenance of a neat and organized workshop with an adequate stock of frequently used spares
• Supervision and training of workshop staff
• Contribution towards sustainability goals by constantly seeking ways to make vehicle and workshop operations more environmentally friendly
