Job Summary
Raise Workforce is working with a municipality within the Halton Region that is looking to hire a Works Operations Inspector to start as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Assist with physical inspection on foot of approximately 1,000 km of municipal sidewalks in accordance with Ontario Minimum Maintenance Standards.
- Identify and document sidewalk deficiencies.
- Prepare and complete written reports/work orders with accuracy.
- Ensure safe and efficient operation, care and maintenance of equipment and vehicles.
- Maintain daily written records of work‑related activities.
- Apply safety precautions and procedures in the performance of all duties, in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Transportation Act and policies of the Corporation.
