Position Title: Workface Planner – Piping

Aecon Industrial leads the way in industrial construction with a proven track record of safely delivering a broad range of project solutions for our clients — from fabrication and modularization to new builds, turnarounds & maintenance. Acon Industrial is seeking an experienced Workface Planner – Piping for the DOW Chemical project in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. This is a 12‑month hourly contract position. The work schedule consists of four 10‑hour days and one 8‑hour day per week.
What You’ll Do Here:
Workface Planning / IWP Development
- Develop piping Installation Work Packages (IWPs) aligned with best practices.
- Sequence work based on construction priorities, P6 schedule alignment, and system/area breakdown structures.
- Define task‑level execution steps, crew requirements, and installation logic.
