Women's Ministry Coordinator (Maternity Leave Cover)

We have an opening on our Adult Ministries Team for a one-year maternity leave coverage overseeing the Women's Ministry at Northview.

Responsibilities

The person in this position will be responsible for leading the Women’s Ministry at Northview (Abbotsford) through the equipping of leaders and the development and implementation of programs designed to disciple women. Many of these initiatives would be applicable to other demographic based discipleship programs (Men’s ministry, Youth, NYA), so the Women’s Coordinator would also coordinate with other ministries under the direction of the Discipleship Team Leader.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have post‑secondary theological education or equivalent lay‑leadership training, experience in leadership development and strategic planning, and demonstrated teaching abilities in large and small groups.
