- **Key responsibilities**:
- Assist engineers and motorman with engine room duties
- Clean and maintain engine room and machinery spaces
- Carry out basic maintenance and routine checks as instructed
- Handle tools, spares and consumables in a safe manner
- Follow safety procedures and take part in drills
- Support bunkering and engine room operations when required
- **Requirements**:
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness
- Previous sea service in engine department preferred
- Good command of English (spoken and written)
- Physically fit and able to work in engine room conditions
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
