Overview
A large consulting company with offices around the world is looking for a Senior Wind/Solar Engineer in Cape Town. This position provides the opportunity to work on some of the most exciting international renewable projects and collaborate with experts around the world.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent through experience.
- 3‑5 years’ experience in the solar or wind industry, preferably in consultancy, and at least 5 years in overall renewable energy experience.
- Thorough experience with technical due diligence on solar and/or wind projects, specifically experience with PV EPC, O&M, PPA, and Wind Turbine contracts review (EPC, WTG supply contract, O&M, PPA), as Lender’s/Owner’s technical advisor.
- Experience with technical solar and wind turbine inspections and construction monitoring.
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn multiple software tools.
