The Welfare Administrator is responsible for the maintenance of member benefit entitlements under member benefit plan Trust Funds as specified by a Collective Bargaining Agreement and directed by a Board of Trustees. Ensures employer benefit contribution reports are verified for accuracy in order to determine benefit plan entitlements for members, identify employer payments irregularities, initiate collection efforts and carry out delinquency procedures.
The Welfare Administrator Will:
- Learn and understand the applicable Collective Agreements. Receive employer contribution reports on daily basis and ensure payments accurately match the report. Balance and audit reports, confirming hours, rates, calculations and additional information. Process company adjustments on system. Detailed analysis of employer reporting is required to ensure accuracy.
