Key Responsibilities
- Fabricating Pantographs (delicate, high-spec rail components).
- Working with various grades and thicknesses of steel, specifically Stainless Steel.
- Must be proficient in TIG (Stainless) and MIG welding.
- All work is subject to external certification. The candidate must be able to weld to AS/NZS 1554.6 (Stainless Steel) standards
What you need
- Must be able to follow Weld Maps strictly. This means understanding codes for weld size, length, material types, and specific wire requirements.
- We need someone who takes genuine pride in their work. The work is delicate - no heavy girders or rough fabrication here.
- Must hold current welding certifications.
The Role
- Monday - Thursday 06.00am - 14.30pm
- Friday 06.0am - 12:00pm (Early finish)
- Overtime available regularly
- Temp to perm opportunity for the right person
