Welding Inspector

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive visual inspections of welds to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
• Utilize non‑destructive testing (NDT) methods such as ultrasonic, radiographic and magnetic particle testing to detect internal and external defects.
• Review and interpret welding procedures and specifications ensuring alignment with project requirements and regulatory standards.
• Document inspection results meticulously, maintaining accurate records for compliance and review purposes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or equivalent.
• Certifications such as CSWIP 3.1, AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), or equivalent are essential for demonstrating expertise.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience in welding inspection within Oil & Gas, construction, manufacturing, or fabrication industries.
