Welding Engineer - Walkin Chennai

Oversee and manage all welding operations ensuring adherence to project specifications and quality standards for diverse fabrication projects. Develop and implement robust welding procedures (WPS) and performance qualification records (PQR) for various materials and joint configurations. Conduct rigorous weld inspection and testing utilizing NDT/DT methods to verify weld integrity and compliance with international codes (e.g., AWS, ASME, API). Troubleshoot welding defects and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence, minimizing rework and material waste.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Welding Engineering from a recognized institution. Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in welding engineering, with a strong focus on fabrication and manufacturing environments.
