Responsibilities

• Execute moderately complex welding operations to join, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable material such as stainless steel.
• Set up and operate manual and semi-automatic (robotic) welding equipment including MIG welding.
• Read and interpret moderately complex blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and job orders to determine appropriate welding processes.
• Ensure welding is completed to the required standards and specifications.
• Inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify defects and ensure conformity with specifications. Deburr pieces to create appropriate welding surfaces when necessary.
• Move materials, parts, equipment and other items using material handling equipment (e.g., lifts, hoists, hand trucks, etc.) ensuring safety practices are diligently followed.
• Operate and program robotic welding equipment. Set up robotic welding systems for production runs. Monitor robotic...
