JPR Industries is looking for a Welder to join our shop and field team. This role is for someone who takes pride in clean fit‑up, strong welds, and building work that lasts. You’ll be working on structural steel, custom fabrication, and agricultural/material‑handling components that support feed mills and large ag operations across Southern Alberta.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and weld structural steel and custom assemblies in a shop environment
- Read and work from drawings, cut lists, and measurements
- Fit, tack, weld, and finish parts to spec (MIG/FCAW/SMAW depending on the job)
- Operate common shop equipment (saws, grinders, drills, ironworker, etc.)
- Work with the team to meet production targets without sacrificing quality
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Follow internal QC practices and contribute to continuous improvement
