Job Description: Welder

Primary Duty: The Welder's Responsibilities are to weld assemblies per shop drawings, maintain welding equipment, use hand tools and operate a forklift and overhead crane.

Supervision: Supervision is by the Shop Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Reads a tape measure.
2. Ability to interpret shop drawings.
3. Cuts, punches, and drills material precisely.
4. Keeps work area clean.
5. Lifts heavy objects.
6. Operates a forklift and overhead crane.
7. Setup, run, and maintain welder machine.
8. Able to operate various hand tools.
9. Works with Fabricator to determine what parts are needed and when.
