We are seeking a skilled welder to join our production team on the 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have the ability to read technical documents and blueprints, and efficiently perform welding tasks while maintaining a high standard of quality and safety.
**Responsibilities**
+ Report to the 2nd Shift Lead within the Production department.
+ Perform work assignments based on skill set, job complexity, and material availability.
+ Receive materials delivered directly to the workstation by the Warehouse team.
+ Use shop computer to record labor hours and scan in/out for jobs and shifts.
+ Read work orders to determine necessary tools, materials, and equipment.
+ Access and interpret product blueprints via shop computer.
+ Prepare parts for welding through grinding, sanding, assembling, and tack welding.
+ Weld and repair products using MIG gun, stick welder, acetylene torch, and other tools.
