We are Vale Base Metals, a global supplier of critical minerals. We are looking for Welder Fitters to join our Maintenance Department in Sudbury, Ontario.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret structural steel drawings, pipe and pressure vessel drawings.
- Lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, dismantle, modify and repair plate and structural steel, plant and mine equipment.
- Perform metal fabrication, metal welding (including pressure welding), brazing, cutting, gouging.
- Align with work safety policies and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- License / Certification : Trade Certification in Metal Fabricator/Plate worker (437A Red Seal) required and CWB Certified.
- Experience : Minimum 4 years of progressive industrial experience preferred.
- Skills :
- Experience with oxy‑fuel and plasma arc cutting.
