As a welder you will be responsible for joining metal parts using various welding techniques and tools. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Select appropriate welding method based on material and project specifications
- Prepare materials for welding by cleaning and cutting
- Set up welding equipment according to specifications
- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments together
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times
