Weld Engineering Technician

We are actively recruiting for a Weld Engineering Technician. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside a skilled and collaborative team, enhancing both individual and collective expertise in automated arc welding, while fostering strong relationships between the Controls Technicians and the Weld Engineering Department. This position reports to the Weld Engineering Supervisor.

What we’re looking for:

• Resistance Spot / Resistance Projection / Gas Metal Arc welding equipment set up and validation
• Destructive testing and quality evaluation of welded assemblies
• Monitoring of weld quality for facility‑wide relevant projects
• Documenting quality control checks and record retention for equipment buyoffsDevelop welding procedures
• Develop design of experiment for relevant special projects and product development efforts
