The Weather Forecaster provides 24/7/365 operational meteorological support for Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) missions. This role requires certified forecasters with a minimum of two years of relevant Department of Defense experience, capable of working rotating shifts in high-tempo, mission-critical environments.
Responsibilities
+ Deliver real-time weather forecasting and climatological analysis to support global combat operations.
+ Produce and brief mission execution forecasts (MEFs) including takeoff, enroute, destination, and refueling data for multiple locations.
+ Generate and disseminate tactical meteorological products (e.g., icing, lightning, and thunderstorm forecasts within AOR).
+ Lead weather collaboration and shift transition operations including Meteorological Conferences (MetCon) and electronic pass-down logs.
