Water/Wastewater Operator II

The Resort Municipality of Osoyoos, BC located in the beautiful south Okanagan Valley is accepting applications for the position of Water/Wastewater Operator II .

Position Overview

Reporting to the Utilities Supervisor, the Water/Wastewater Operator II participates in the operation and maintenance of the Town’s water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure. The primary focus will be wastewater, but the successful candidate will be required to participate in other areas of operation and maintenance as required. This position has supervisory aspects and works alongside the other water and wastewater operators.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; and
• EOCP Level 2 Water Distribution, EOCP Level 2 Water Treatment plus EOCP Level 1 Wastewater Treatment or Level 1 Wastewater Collections OR EOCP Level 2 Wastewater Collections, EOCP Level 2 Wastewater Treatment plus EOCP Level 1 Water Treatment or Level ...
