Responsibilities
As a Water Specialty Engineer, you will assist multiple projects in either the London or Guelph office, collaborating with multidisciplinary staff, regulatory agencies, and clients. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Conducting daily and occasional inspections on construction projects, and reporting findings.
- Traveling across Ontario for fieldwork as needed.
- Preparing topographic and as‑built surveys.
- Using AutoCAD Civil 3D to draft base plans from field surveys.
- Coordinating with drafting and GIS staff to prepare report figures and design drawings.
- Analyzing, assessing, and interpreting data for hydrologic and hydraulic studies.
- Assisting in the preparation of proposals, technical reports, technical specifications for engineering designs, and cost estimates.
