The Water Research Commission invites suitably qualified and unemployed South African university graduates and TVET learners to apply for a 24‑month Internship and Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Programme. This programme provides successful candidates with valuable workplace exposure, practical experience, and an opportunity to develop professional skills within a dynamic working environment.

Available Internships

• Human Resource Management Intern – Reference Number: WRC/26-01
  • National Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management, Labour Relations, Employee Relations, Industrial Psychology or related field.
• Legal & Auxiliary Services Intern – Reference Number: WRC/26-02
  • National Diploma/Degree in Law, Records Management, Information Studies & Archives, Safety Management, Public Management/Administration, Management Assistant or related field.
