Overview
Reporting to the Water Hygiene Supervisor, the Water Hygiene Technician will be responsible for delivering all aspects of the water hygiene program. This role involves mobile working at client sites across Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the North East. The role includes a company vehicle, tablet, tools and phone.
Responsibilities
- Plan and perform reactive maintenance as required, responding to task requests and ensuring jobs are completed within allocated service level agreements.
- Conduct routine water hygiene monitoring:
- Temperature testing inline with HSG 274 and HTM 04-01
- Tank and pipework insulation inspections
- Sampling when required
- Shower cleaning and disinfecting
- Flushing of expansion vessels when required
- TMV maintenance including cleans, temperature checks and replacement
- Carry out minor plumbing tasks.
