Lead and support the day to functions of shipping, receiving and material storage for multiple areas and/or locations for the Vertiv manufacturing, distribution or warehouse operations.
Interface between numerous departments to track inbound material, finished good product, coordinate complete orders, schedule deliveries for customers and ensure high quality outbound shipments.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Set performance goals for the shipping, receiving and material handling departments and establish actions plans to meet them.
- Ensure storage and distribution activities are performed according safe regulations and policies to minimize the risk of employee injury and material damage.
- Drive compliance to tender lead-times for outbound carrier notifications
- Assure product shipments are customs compliant.
- Keep staff fully trained and compliant with regulations
