Warehouse Generalist (Temporary Contract)

Job Summary

Responsible for performing the tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Picks and fills orders, lifts items as heavy as 35 pounds and uses weighing scales, pallet handlers and hand trucks. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped and received. The Shipper – Receiver works collaboratively with internal resources at various levels to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Physical picking and packing of orders for automation equipment and consumables.
• Use of automated and manual shipping systems (e.g., UPS, Purolator, Canada Post).
• Organize and prepare equipment for transportation to customers or showcase sites.
