Ballet Jörgen is Canada’s most active touring dance company, performing across Canada and into the United States each season. The Wardrobe Coordinator will oversee all areas of wardrobe for Ballet Jörgen, including fittings, alterations, repairs, inventory, organization and laundry. The Wardrobe Coordinator will tour with the Company, so a desire to travel to small communities from coast to coast across all ten Canadian provinces and into the United States is a must.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Managing costume use for rehearsals and performances;
- Managing costume storage at Company warehouse;
- Updating paperwork for all Company ballets and keeping a detailed costume inventory & photos;
- Supervising and assisting all pre-tour costume load-ins and load-out s in venues, from warehouse and studio;
- Supervising theatre wardrobe personnel;
- Assisting with costume load-in, setup and load-out;
