Position Overview

UHN Toronto General Hospital – Peter Munk Cardiac Centre, Cardiovascular Surgery – Position: Ward Clerk, Permanent Part-Time, 15 Hours per Week.

Reports to: Nurse Manager. Wage Range: $20.83 – $26.04 per hour.

Closing Date: June 18, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Answering, screening and triaging telephone calls.
• Receiving and assisting visitors.
• Scheduling patients for tests, special procedures and urgent/emergency appointments.
• Following established procedures to ensure efficient flow of patient appointments.
• Providing routine clerical support services.
• Performing cross-functional duties as assigned and/or required.
• Performing other duties consistent with the job classification, as assigned and/or required.
