A Waiter/Waitress is responsible for providing excellent service to guests in a restaurant or hospitality setting. They take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure guests have an enjoyable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner.
- Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and provide recommendations.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen or bar staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Check on guests to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.
- Process payments, issue receipts, and handle cash or card transactions.
- Prior experience as a waiter/waitress or in a similar role (preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a customer-focused attitude.
