Elevate your career as a Quality Assurance Technician at the Vernon Water Reclamation Centre (VWRC). This full-time position emphasizes laboratory analysis and process optimization.
In this role, you will oversee laboratory operations, conduct testing for wastewater treatment, and contribute to reclaimed water programs. Interpreting laboratory results and collaborating with staff will be key to ensuring the reliability of treatment systems at VWRC.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform laboratory analyses and ensure accuracy of results
• Collect samples from the Water Reclamation Plant
• Advise staff on treatment system faults and solutions
• Maintain data management systems and compile reports
• Conduct routine maintenance on laboratory instruments
Requirements:
• Completion of a two-year diploma in Water Quality Technology
• At least one year of related experience in a lab
• Valid BC Driver’s License and WHMIS certification
• Level I First Aid training
