Requirements
- Lead of team of cloud engineers and provide guidance on issues resolutions
- Partner with Cloud CoE, security and application teams to align operations with cloud strategy
- Apply expert-level knowledge of cloud-native services (compute, storage, networking, databases, containers, serverless and security)
- Own and evolve operational frameworks including incident response, monitoring, patching, backup, disaster recovery and compliance
- Lead major incident management and root cause analysis (RCA) for critical cloud events
- Develop a library of deployable and documented cloud design patterns, based on the organisation application portfolio, as a basis for deploying services to the cloud
- Demonstrate leadership ability to back decisions with research and the “why” and articulate several options, the pros and cons for each, and a recommendation.
