Responsibilities
- Process tasks relating to diagnostic results, medical questions, and medication requests
- Formulate and execute appropriate diagnostic and treatment plans
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding laboratory findings, preventive care, and treatment options
- Work closely with other practice doctors to ensure continuity of care
- Consult with specialists regarding patient diagnostics and response to therapy
- Resolve client services issues and elevate to Lead Virtual Care Doctor as needed
- Review and report lab results for in-clinic doctors and support virtual care technicians
Requirements
- Graduation from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school
- Licensure in good standing in the state of California
