Responsibilities
- Ensure materials and components availability to meet customer demand by planning raw material and component requirements based on Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning and Master Production Schedule.
- Validate and send weekly forecasts to suppliers.
- Track daily material arrivals and confirm timely supplier shipments.
- Communicate accurate information to supplier contacts, adapting method and frequency to situation.
- Maintain inventory levels for raw materials and component families and set appropriate inventory levels.
- Track MPS achievement and propose preventative actions to support MPS realization.
- Analyze and reduce inventory within component families.
- Measure Supplier Service Rate (SSR) and propose service improvement plans.
