Veterinary Assistant, Emergency | $19–$26/hour Location: Dartmouth, Nova Scotia Schedule: Full-Time | Three 12-hour shifts per week Compensation: $19–$26/hour + $3/hour Shift Premium Maritime Veterinary Emergency + Specialty Centre (MVESC) is hiring a full-time Veterinary Assistant, Emergency to join our growing Emergency & Specialty animal hospital in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

This role is ideal for a compassionate, motivated team member who wants to support advanced veterinary medicine while helping pets and families during critical moments.

As an Emergency Veterinary Assistant at MVESC, you’ll work alongside veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians in a fast-paced environment while developing your skills in patient care, client communication, and emergency medicine.

Compensation $19–$26/hour based on skill level and assessment $3/hour shift premium Weekday premium shifts: 7:00 p.m.
