About the role
You'll work directly with the Financial & Operational Controller on everything from day-to-day accounting and KPI reporting to tax filings, due diligence, and building internal financial systems. This is a high-exposure, high-ownership role—you’ll see the full picture of how a venture studio operates financially and get reps in areas most junior finance roles don’t touch for years.
What you will do
Finance & Accounting
- Accounting support: journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close across multiple entities
- Intercompany reconciliations across CAD and USD entities
- Review month-end results and identify and comment on anomalies prior to review with partner leaders
- Year-end preparation and support for external accountants (Grant Thornton)
