Job Summary

The Vendor Manager is responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of the Vendor Management System and the performance activity related to vendor operations, efficiency and risk. The role oversees and governs vendor performance measurement and management, deploys vendor performance scorecards, and organizes and facilitates the cross-client Supplier Business Review process. The individual ensures appropriate actions, plans and follow-up activity to drive improved vendor performance, monitors strategic suppliers’ service delivery activities, and escalates as necessary to functional and senior leadership to ensure client brand protection, compliance, and timely execution of deliverables. The Vendor Manager also implements and oversees process improvement initiatives of Procurement activities.
