**Roles and Responsibilities**
- The mechanical design engineer is the main responsible of translating customer, program, technical and regulatory requirements into reliable, maintainable and safe designs through a solid ability on Mechanical Design of machinery.
- Lead the implementation of innovative analysis, design, development concepts, processes, and system solutions that meet key stakeholder's requirements.
Due to the proven design experience, execute those tasks with mínimal guidance.
- Own technical & business substantiation of Variable Geometry (VG) design and must be able to present such substantiations on internal and external boards.
- Communicate project status, business issues or meaningful information that interferes with project fulfillment to the VG staff and propose solutions within available resources or triggers request for additional resources.
