Become a vital part of Main Street Project's mission as a Van Outreach and Emergency Shelter Worker in Winnipeg. Provide critical support to those experiencing homelessness through outreach and emergency services.
As a Casual Float Support Worker, you will assist community members in immediate crisis, problem-solving, and resource access. Your role promotes self-determination and dignity within a supportive environment. Upholding harm reduction and anti-oppressive values, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and welfare of participants in shelter and outreach programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist community members in crisis planning and needs
• Operate MSP’s outreach vans for transport as needed
• Respond to and document critical incidents effectively
• Facilitate access to essential services and resources
