Van Driver for Aging at Home Program

Help improve access to care and support for seniors as a Van Driver with Noojmowin Teg Health Centre. This role focuses on assisting individuals aged 55 and older in the Manitoulin Island District.
In this critical position, you'll work within a collaborative interdisciplinary team dedicated to enhancing transportation services for the aging population. Your role is vital in connecting clients to essential healthcare and social programs, helping promote their independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive clients to medical and social appointments
• Interface with community organizations for service enhancement
• Ensure a safe and welcoming atmosphere during transport
• Document transportation activities and client interactions
• Strengthen community ties to improve service delivery
Requirements:
• CPR/First Aid Certification is mandatory
• Valid Class G Driver's License is essential
