Overview

Amazon is hiring an Operations Manager in Last Mile Execution to focus on safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity of the operation.

Responsibilities

1. Manage the day‑to‑day operations of the Last Mile Operation in the North Region, overseeing the Under the Roof (UTR) process that delivers Amazon orders directly to customers.
2. Set and communicate performance goals, establish expectations, and ensure accuracy and quality to meet customer promise expectations.
3. Lead a team of Delivery Station Managers, conducting meetings, training, assigning duties, and providing periodic performance feedback.
4. Partner with the AMZL Delivery Station On the Road (OTR) management team to maintain quality control standards.
5. Identify and lead process improvement initiatives using Lean tools.
6. Provide tactical leadership for strategic initiatives and coordinate cross‑functional tasks.
