US Corporate Tax - Waterloo - Senior Manager

We are looking for a US Tax Senior Manager to lead large and complex engagements in the U.S. Tax Practice. The role involves technical leadership, client relationship management, and business development for EY’s U.S. Tax practice in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee multiple complex U.S. tax compliance engagements end-to-end, ensuring technical accuracy, quality, and timely delivery.
• Serve as a primary client contact and build trusted relationships with tax leaders and key stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership on U.S. corporate and partnership taxation matters, including federal and state considerations.
• Guide cross‑border tax issue spotting and collaborate with global teams as needed.
• Review and sign off on key deliverables such as returns, workpapers, and technical memoranda, and drive risk and quality management across engagements.
