Our client is seeking an experienced Unix/Linux Administrator to support enterprise infrastructure environments, including Solaris 11 and Red Hat Linux 8/9 . The successful consultant will provide operating system administration, automation, maintenance, patching, hardening, server builds, and operational support.
This role is hybrid, with a requirement to be onsite in Ottawa approximately 12 days per month . Remote candidates may be considered; however, candidates able to support the hybrid model will be preferred.
The consultant will also participate in an on-call rotation approximately every 5 weeks and must be available to support occasional after‑hours work, including evenings or weekends for planned maintenance and operational activities.
Security Requirement: Candidate must be eligible to obtain a Government Secret Clearance (must have resided in Canada for a minimum of 10 years).
