Overview
Role: Unix Production Support
Location: Montreal, Canada
Duration: 6+ Months / Fulltime
BGV will be done for the selected candidates.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve immediate production impacting issues in the compute and storage plant.
- Work with other infrastructure teams—including networking, database administration, and hosted solution teams—to resolve outages and determine scope, impact, and resolution paths with business users.
- Carry out proactive health & hygiene tasks to maintain operational stability and compliance with risk & control programs, ensuring the production environment is not at risk.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to test and certify new hardware and software products.
- Occasionally work weekend projects to onboard new UNIX assets for growth or large programs such as new datacenter builds.
