Underwriting Specialist, Renewable Energy and Mining

Overview

Aviva Global Corporate & Specialty seeks an Underwriting Specialist to support our Construction, Renewable Energy, and Mining team in the Corporate Risk Group. Location: Toronto, Ontario.

What You’ll Do

• Underwrite and qualify new and renewal business by assessing customer needs, risk characteristics, and exposures within construction, renewable energy, and/or mining sectors.
• Drive profitable growth by identifying and securing opportunities within large-scale infrastructure, energy, and resource-based risks.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional service.
• Provide expertise and thought leadership within complex risk underwriting in your core sector.
• Monitor portfolio performance to ensure profitability and adherence to underwriting guidelines.
