We are seeking an experienced Property Treaty Underwriter to lead the underwriting and development of our North Asia – China, Hong Kong, Korea and Taiwan portfolio. This role is responsible for managing treaty reinsurance business across key markets in the region, ensuring profitable growth, and building strong client and broker relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, price, and negotiate property treaty reinsurance contracts in line with company risk appetite and underwriting guidelines.
- Conduct detailed risk analysis, including catastrophe modelling and model validation, exposure management, and portfolio impact assessments.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards, regulatory requirements, and rating agency expectations.
