Zurich Canada is looking for an Underwriter for an 18-month contract to join our Middle Market team to analyze and underwrite new and renewal business, regularly interact with the market, and deliver exceptional service to customers.

Reporting to the Director of Middle Market, Ontario, you will work closely with agents, brokers, and customers to understand their insurance needs, support sales initiatives, and ensure underwriting guidelines and risk assessment standards are met. You will use The Zurich Way of Underwriting Framework within delegated authority, supporting both retention and new business growth while gaining hands‑on experience in a collaborative environment.
