Underground Mine Trainer - FIFO

Summary

Hecla Keno Hill is seeking an Underground Mine Trainer to lead hands‑on training of underground lateral development and production miners. This position is responsible for the curriculum, delivery and certification of miners operating in a narrow‑vein hard‑rock mining environment. The Trainer ensures that our “Safety 365” values are integrated into the entire mining cycle (drill, blast, muck, bolt, and backfill).

The Keno Hill mine is located within the Keno Hill Silver District in Canada’s Yukon Territory, about 350 kilometres north of Whitehorse. The mine is owned and operated by Hecla Mining Company, headquartered in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
