Ucluelet Outdoor Education Teacher

Transform learning through nature as a 0.50 FTE Outdoor Education Teacher for Grades 4-9 in Ucluelet, BC. Focus on blended learning and face-to-face instruction within nature.

This temporary role with School District 71 requires an educator committed to experiential learning and collaboration in multi-grade classrooms. Ideal candidates will have certification in blended learning, outdoor leadership experience, and the ability to craft effective online resources. Enhancing community engagement through programs will be a key focus.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide outdoor instruction face-to-face up to 2.5 days a week
• Collaborate to integrate curriculum and personalize student learning
• Develop online resources that support student engagement
• Coordinate and implement community-based learning initiatives
