The Infrastructure, Transportation & Parks Department requires a temporary full-time Truck Driver /Swamper for approximately one (1) year. You will be responsible for truck driving, manual collection and disposal work involving tandem axle rear loader garbage trucks with a G.V.W. over 26,100 kg. As a member of a two-person crew, you will share equally in the truck driving and swamping duties during the collection of garbage and green can/yard trimmings. The work also includes the operation of auxiliary equipment, preparation of work records, public interaction and routine maintenance of the truck and equipment.
