Overview
In this role, the Employee shall be responsible for the timely and safe transportation of goods and materials as assigned by the Employer.
Responsibilities
- Operating commercial vehicles in compliance with all federal, provincial, and municipal laws and Company policies.
- Completing pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
- Safely loading, securing, transporting, and unloading cargo.
- Ensuring documentation such as delivery receipts, bills of lading, and logbooks are completed accurately and submitted promptly.
- Reporting any accidents, delays, vehicle defects, or incidents to dispatch or management.
- Adhering to designated routes, schedules, and client-specific delivery protocols.
- Maintaining cleanliness and general upkeep of assigned vehicles.
- Cooperating with warehouse and administrative personnel to ensure efficient logistics operations.
